How to update account settings

How to update account settings

Short description: Change your name and profile photo, and add a verified email or phone for signing in to Console — under Account settings.

Before you start

  • You are signed in to Console.
  • To add a new email or phone for login, you must receive OTP on that contact.

Step-by-step instructions

Name and photo

  1. In the left sidebar footer, tap your name or Account settings (or open Account → Account settings from the menu).
  2. Edit Full name and tap Save.
  3. To change your photo, use Upload photo (or the avatar control). Pick an image from your device.
  4. Wait for upload to finish. Your photo appears in the sidebar.

Add or verify sign-in email or phone

  1. On Account settings, find Email or Phone for login.
  2. If empty, tap Add next to the field you need.
  3. Enter the new email or phone and tap Send code.
  4. Enter the OTP sent to that contact.
  5. Tap Verify. The contact is now used for Console sign-in.
  6. You cannot type email/phone directly into profile save without OTP — this keeps your account secure.

Sign out

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Tap Sign out.
  3. To use Console again, sign in with OTP on the login page.
