How to invite owners and co-owners

How to invite owners and co-owners

Short description: Add people who can sign in to Console and Tokyo for your outlet. Invites go to their email or phone from Setup → Owners.


Before you start

  • You are owner on the outlet (admins can invite manager and staff on some screens; owners can invite other owners).
  • You have the invitee’s correct email or mobile number.
  • The invitee can receive SMS, WhatsApp, or email with the invite link.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Select the outlet in the location picker.
  2. Open the outlet page → SetupOwners.
  3. Tap Invite owner (or Add owner).
  4. Enter the person’s email or phone (the one they will use to sign in).
  5. Send the invite. They receive a link by email or WhatsApp.
  6. Ask them to open the link while signed in (or sign in first, then open the link).
  7. After they accept, they appear in the owners list and can:
    • Open this outlet in Console
    • Sign in on Tokyo and attach a session to this outlet

POS staff (passcode-only) are added under Operations → POS staff, not on the Owners tab.


Remove or change access

  • On Owners, use the actions on a row to remove an owner invite or access (wording may be Remove or Revoke).
  • Removing Console access does not automatically sign someone out of Tokyo — use Manage Tokyo sessions if needed.
